THE WHOLE BIBLE
During this 9-month school, you will get to study each of the books in depth, looking at the structure of the book, its historical and literary context and writing your own Bible commentary on it. It will allow you to see the big picture of what the Bible says and study it for yourself.

INDUCTIVE APPROACH
The inductive approach to study the Bible is an effective approach to understand what it says. It uses 3 main steps: observation, interpretation, and application. Throughout the school, you will be introduced to various creative ways to study the text using this method.

GROW
Because you will be spending so much time in the Word, you will have plenty of opportunities to grow and be transformed by its liberating truths. Throughout the school, you will be encouraged to ask yourself how the message you’re studying can be applied to your life.
SUBJECTS
September-December:
Introduction to the inductive approach and SBS study method. Study of the New Testament books (except John’s writing)
January-March:
John’s writing, the Torah, the Historical books and wisdom literature.
April-June:
The prophets and post-exilic books.
OUTREACH/TITUS PROJECT
(optional)
A unique opportunity to share what you’ve learned and train others.

COLLABORATE
The goal is for our short-term efforts to serve the local long-term vision of the places we’re going to (like Mauritius Island) working in partnership with the local Body of Christ, building on what has already been done and learning from the people we work with.

SHARE
The heart of outreach is to help people meet and connect with Jesus. During these two months, you will have plenty of opportunities to share the love of Jesus with people from other religious, cultural and historical backgrounds.

TEACH
Jesus asked us to go and make disciples of all nations. This is a wonderful opportunity to do just that, mainly by teaching on various books and passages of the Bible, as well as preaching and leading small group Bible studies. You will be trained and equipped to teach in the first three weeks of the program.
