COME AND JOIN OUR DUNHAM HOME IMPROVEMENT! It’s your turn to be featured in Home Improvement, not on a TV set but on the Youth With A Mission Dunham property!
Youth With A Mission Dunham is organizing the fifth edition of our property beautification weekend, from 26 to 30 August and we’re inviting you to come experience this with us! Your abilities and practical skills will be a blessing to the missionary work done in Dunham for over the last 30 years, in a building more than 120 years old!
This year, Youth With A Mission Quebec will have the privilege of welcoming Loren and Darlene Cunningham to celebrate the 50th anniversary of YWAM international, from September 15 to 17 in Dunham, so we want to renovate the building and make it welcoming for the people who will be coming to celebrate this event.
Come on your own or with a group… and you’ll most likely go home with new friends. Whether you’re an expert in renovation or you don’t know a thing, your participation will be appreciated!
If you would like to come, click here to email Keith Whittaker or call him at 450-295-2744. Please confirm whether you are coming by 19 August 2010 so we can prepare rooms.
YWAM Dunham will take care of accommodation and meal costs, you just need to bring a sleeping bag, towel and personal safety equipment.

Whether you come for one day or for all four days we look forward to welcoming you here at YWAM Dunham. Don’t forget to bring your sleeping bag, your bath towel, your work clothing and any equipment you deem necessary to your safety.
Feel free to bring your tools if you consider them necessary, but make sure you identify them clearly.
Long term vision for DUNHAM HOME IMPROVEMENT DUNHAM HOME IMPROVEMENT is a project YWAM Dunham has developed at the initiative of its Managing Board. It’s an activity we’d like to host several times a year. The size and age of the building make it a real challenge to administrate this centre, however we believe God has given it to YWAM as a tool and not as a burden or an obstacle to the ministry the Lord is calling us to. In this perspective, we want to beautify it and improve its condition!
As a voluntary organisation we do not have funds for completing major works so we will only be able to carry out small to medium-size projects, as we lack the funds to purchase supplies. However, we feel the size of the projects are called to grow, so even if you cannot take part in this edition, please come next time!
If you have a speciality or expertise in an area you could contribute, such as electricity, woodwork, plumbing; you are needed. Even though we cannot carry out large-scale projects, your help would be precious even to evaluate the present condition of our building.
If you know a company that could donate supplies or equipment, or offer a very advantageous discount, please contact us.
