A PROPERTY BEAUTIFICATION PROJECT

Dunham Home Improvement is an event we host twice a year (spring and fall) with the purpose of beautifying and improving the condition of our 130 year old building.  The size and age of our property can make it a real challenge to steward, but we believe God has given it to YWAM as a blessing and tool and it is for this reason that we want to take care of it and always seek to be improving its condition.

We invite you to come and join us in this event, putting your manual skills into practice!  Come down on your own or with a group – either way, you are sure to return home having made some new acquaintances.  Whether you are an expert in home renovation, decoration, sewing or cooking, or whether this is all new to you, your help would be very much appreciated! If you have a specialty or expertise in an area you could contribute to, such as electricity, woodwork, plumbing, etc., you are especially needed!  Though we cannot attempt to carry out large-scale projects over a weekend, your help can be very precious even to evaluate the present needs of our property.

If you know a company that could donate supplies, equipment, furniture, or offer an advantageous discount, please contact us.

DURING YOUR STAY

Whether you come for one day or for the weekend, we look forward to welcoming you here at YWAM Dunham and will take care of your accommodation and meals here.
While here, we encourage you to take advantage of being in the Eastern Townships to relax and have fun on the Sunday! You can consider attending a local Church, going for a walk or drive in the countryside, hiking Mount Sutton/Bromont, visiting the “Wine Route”, exploring a high-ropes course in Sutton, paintball, visiting the charming local restaurants, resting, and whatever else your heart may desire!
